4. Social Media Integrations

SignalCaster may integrate with third-party platforms such as Facebook Pages, Pinterest, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord, X/Twitter, WhatsApp in future updates, and other social media services.

When you connect a social media account, SignalCaster may store access tokens, page identifiers, account identifiers, webhook URLs, or similar connection information needed to publish content on your behalf.

SignalCaster only uses connected account permissions to provide the features requested by the user, such as publishing posts, selecting pages or boards, and managing connected publishing destinations.

5. Facebook and Meta Data

If you connect a Facebook Page, SignalCaster may request permissions needed to identify pages you manage and publish content to the selected Page. SignalCaster does not sell Facebook data and does not use Facebook data for unrelated advertising or profiling.

Facebook Page access tokens and Page identifiers may be stored securely to allow SignalCaster to publish content to the Page selected by the user.

6. Data Sharing

SignalCaster does not sell user data. We may share information only when necessary to operate the service, comply with legal requirements, protect our rights, or complete actions requested by the user through connected third-party platforms.

When SignalCaster publishes content to a connected platform, that content is sent to the selected third-party service according to the user’s configuration.

7. Data Storage and Security

SignalCaster takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored information, connected account details, and access tokens. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Users should keep their accounts secure and avoid sharing private tokens, passwords, or credentials publicly.

8. User Control

Users can control their connected accounts and publishing settings. Users may disconnect social accounts, remove RSS feeds, change publishing settings, or request deletion of stored account data.
